Neat seams and finished edges at serger speed

Finish garment seams and fabric edges with the Janome 8002D. This three- or four-thread serger can sew, trim, and overcast an edge in one pass, making it useful for knit garments, woven projects, and regular seam finishing. Color-coded guides and a threading chart help you follow each thread path.

Differential feed gives you a way to control stretching or gathering as fabric passes under the foot. Adjustable stitch length, cutting width, and foot pressure help you tune the finish, and the quick-change rolled-hem setup supports fine edges on lightweight fabrics. With speeds up to 1,300 stitches per minute, the 8002D is a productive addition to a garment sewing workspace.

For the original purchaser using the machine for normal household sewing, Janome provides 25 years of coverage against defects in materials or workmanship, excluding electronic components, which have 5 years of coverage. Labor is covered for the first year. Commercial use is covered for one year for parts and service.

Coverage requires purchase from an authorized U.S. Janome dealer and the original sales receipt. Consumables, normal wear, routine maintenance, transport, misuse, and unauthorized repairs are excluded. Contact your authorized Janome dealer or service center for a warranty claim.
