For the original purchaser using the machine for normal household sewing, Janome provides 25 years of coverage against defects in materials or workmanship, excluding electronic components, which have 5 years of coverage. Labor is covered for the first year. Commercial use is covered for one year for parts and service.

Coverage requires purchase from an authorized U.S. Janome dealer and the original sales receipt.
