The Reliable 4500CW combines a narrow 47 mm cylinder bed with a single-needle lockstitch compound-feed walking-foot system. It is designed for medium- to heavyweight leather, upholstery, canvas and synthetics—especially work that is awkward to manipulate on a flat bed.

A large take-up mechanism with dual tension adjustments supports demanding thread and material combinations. The drop-in bobbin is easy to access, while the SewQuiet servo motor and synchronizer provide controlled operation and programmable needle positioning for corner work.
