The Janome HD-5000 Black Edition combines a black finish with an aluminum-body mechanical sewing platform. Eighteen stitches and a one-step buttonhole support repairs, clothing, and home projects, and the included quilting attachment kit adds useful options for patchwork and quilting.

A one-hand needle threader helps with setup, while the drop-in bobbin makes routine changes easy to manage. Adjust presser-foot pressure, stitch width, and stitch length for the fabric and technique. The free arm and extra-high foot lift provide flexibility around garment openings and fabric layers. A hard cover protects the machine when your sewing session is finished.

For the original purchaser using the machine for normal household sewing, Janome provides 25 years of coverage against defects in materials or workmanship, excluding electronic components, which have 5 years of coverage. Labor is covered for the first year. Commercial use is covered for one year for parts and service.

Coverage requires purchase from an authorized U.S. Janome dealer and the original sales receipt. Consumables, normal wear, routine maintenance, transport, misuse, and unauthorized repairs are excluded. Contact your authorized Janome dealer or service center for a warranty claim.
