Treadle-powered sewing with familiar stitch controls

The Janome 712T offers sewing powered by your treadle rather than electricity. Ten stitches and a four-step buttonhole support practical clothing, repair, and household projects. Its top-loading bobbin and straightforward selection dial bring familiar Janome convenience to a traditional sewing setup.

A compatible treadle-operated table is required and is purchased separately. Once installed, you control sewing speed with the treadle while using the machine’s stitch-length and width adjustments to suit the project. Drop feed and the extra-high presser-foot lift add flexibility. This machine is designed for sewists who value a treadle workspace and the independence of non-electric operation.

Janome America limited warranty

For the original purchaser using the machine for normal household sewing, Janome provides 25 years of coverage against defects in materials or workmanship, excluding electronic components, which have 5 years of coverage. Labor is covered for the first year. Commercial use is covered for one year for parts and service.

Coverage requires purchase from an authorized U.S. Janome dealer and the original sales receipt. Consumables, normal wear, routine maintenance, transport, misuse, and unauthorized repairs are excluded. Contact your authorized Janome dealer or service center for a warranty claim.
